Through an array of interacting humans, creatures, and personified objects, Kentaro Okawara addresses the importance of direct, face-to-face communication. Our Life draws from Okawara's travel experiences and absent friendships due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the book is a visual documentation of more than 200 of Okawara’s many reflections and is presented as black-and-white artworks, each with its own message and narrative. His hope is that everyone will be able to relate and in some way connect with these visual stories. Each book features a screen printed glow in the dark cover.
